C4Real and Thales win prestigious MarCom Award!

The Twente based company, C4Real, together with its client Thales, has become the winner of a MarCom Award; an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievements by marketing and communication professionals.

From the many entries from all over the world, the jury of the MarCom Awards rewarded the visual collaboration between C4Real and Thales within the SOTAS campaign with the MarCom Award in the category 'Strategic Communication Campaign'.

C4Real

Thales SOTAS is an innovative and safe vehicle communication system for the transport and defense sector. To put this special concept on the map, C4Real developed a visual sales kit that is used for various campaigns. This includes a spectacular 3D animation, trailers, brochures and various presentations. This sales kit is used by Thales, so that all sales professionals worldwide can communicate with potential customers with the same strategic visual story. The 3D animation film shows a clear 3D environment, in which the viewer immediately recognizes himself and understands which problem SOTAS solves. In it, a scenario takes place that immediately exposes the solution and the distinctive character of SOTAS.

In order to create visual solutions for an integral visualization campaign as efficiently as possible, C4Real worked from a 'single source philosophy', in which produced material can be reused for other forms of content. From this we created a 3D product model library of models and vehicles from which visuals and shorter (social) teaser animations were produced. For the 3D animation film we chose to create a clear 3D environment in which the viewer immediately recognizes himself. In it, a scenario takes place that immediately exposes the solution and the distinctive character of SOTAS. The entire visual campaign produced was awarded the MarCom Award.

Winning teamwork from Thales and C4Real

In this 3D animation the radar and communication system are visualized. This complicated technique is difficult to explain, but with the help of a 3D animation, the concrete benefits of this system are visible to the customer. The sound of the system has also been visualized and the recognisability has been carefully considered, taking into account the smallest details.
