Who isn't aware of it? The Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. A sizeable exhibition complex for congresses and events with no less than 11 halls of different sizes with a total area of 100,000 m2, 4 separate congress centers, a theater, a meeting center as well as its own parking and catering facilities. The smallest conference hall can accommodate about 200 people, while the largest exhibition hall can welcome more than 15,000. In addition, the various halls can also be seamlessly connected, making the possibilities for a trade fair or event almost endless. But with so many options the question arises; which location is most suitable for the business customer? And how can visitors find the right location? C4Real received this question and came up with the solution: a 360-degree virtual tour.

Zoals gezegd, de mogelijkheden voor beurzen, congressen en kleinere bijeenkomsten bij Jaarbeurs in Utrecht zijn eindeloos. Hoe vind je nu als zakelijke klant de best passende locatie? En hoe kan deze klant bij de hand genomen worden van oriëntatie tot en met het boeken van de locatie? Daarbij anderzijds: hoe voorkom je dat bezoekers in dit gigantische beurs- en congresgebouw verdwalen? Hiervoor heeft C4Real de 360 graden virtuele tour ontwikkeld. In een 360 graden virtuele tour kun je digitaal een rondleiding door alle locaties geven. De klant (of bezoeker) kan zich visueel oriënteren en door de toevoeging van de voornaamste info, zoals de omvang, capaciteit en de faciliteiten, een goed beeld vormen van de mogelijkheden. Zo geeft het de klant de mogelijkheid snel en gemakkelijk bij de voor hem of haar juiste oplossing en documentatie terecht te komen. Op deze manier werkt de 360 graden virtuele tour als een salesversneller!

'The 360-degree virtual tour was an ideal solution during the corona pandemic. While our doors were closed, it allowed organizers and customers to take a good look at our various locations. Even now it still proves to be a good addition to our sales meetings because we can give the customer a good idea of the proposed spaces right from the first telephone contact, even before they decide to come on location. The process

When C4Real received the order, they decided - because of the size of the exhibition complex - rather quickly to develop the most efficient workflow possible and to work with the customer on this as a shared account. As a result, both parties always had the current state of affairs and things could easily be updated. This way of working saves a lot of time and costs; it is an efficient way of working together. The beauty of this is that it has created an equal partnership, with a lot of trust in each other.

A virtual showroom was created, both on the inside as well as the outside to give visitors and event managers a good idea of the possibilities of the Jaarbeurs. For visitors also to find the right location. Using 360-degree, high-resolution images, the virtual tour was developed. Movies have also been added to give a good impression of the atmosphere. A total of 70 360-degree scenes were recorded.

The final result

In the virtual tour, for each location be that hall or room, you will find a description and the most important info, such as size, capacity, and facilities. Moreover, thought has been given to how to click through it from the viewer's perspective so that they get to the right solution as quickly as possible. Because of this, the 360-degree virtual tour allows you to follow the customer in their journey, through the entire funnel.

Before there was a brochure, it happened often enough that contact with the customer was lost. With a digitized lead funnel, the customer stays central and can be helped further and further until a trade show or event is booked as well. In short, for the business customer, the virtual tour is a sales accelerator, and for the visitors a tool to find the right location.

And this is done to great success: since the launch of the virtual tour, almost 30,000 unique visitors have already used the tour. The statistics show when they visited the site, where these visitors came from, and that they interactively used the tool. A great result, directly applicable as a sales accelerator.
